Biotechnology

Celsius S.A., in collaboration with the Biotechnology area, developed a research project that resulted in innovative ELISA diagnostic kits for hydatidosis and Chagas disease. Both products are produced and commercialized by the company.

The Biotechnology area, in association with the company Prondil S.A., carried out the development of an immunochemical kit that enables a real-time monitoring of the antigen production process for a veterinary vaccine and streamlines the process. The company, with 90% of its vaccine production exported, is now using this optimization and monitoring system for the production of other vaccines.
