PCTP has access to high quality research platforms with unique technology in the country. Pando Technology Pole constitutes the main research platform, where the projects of PCTP clients are developed.
Fine chemistry
The area of Fine Chemistry focuses on the development and production of high value added chemicals. The tasks of the area include the constant search for molecules - with about to expire or already expired patents - demanded on national and regional markets. The Fine Chemistry laboratory carries out tailored processes such as mixtures and solutions by using the existing infrastructure that is adaptable to a wide range of processes due to its multipurpose characteristics.

- Synthesis of benzimidazole.
- Synthesis of ligands for radiopharmacy.
- Synthesis of platinum derivatives such as cytostatic drugs.
- Hemi-synthesis of biperiden.
- Production of standards for the quantification of drugs.
- Drug metabolite production for analytical studies.
- Synthesis of salicylamide derivatives.
- Synthesis of xanthine derivatives.
- Synthesis of analgesics derived from indomethacin.
